The book starts with an introduction to foraging, what kit you will require, a guide to the law. And then we get to the foraging calendar where John breaks down what is available on a month by month basis. His easy writing style and humour make it both entertaining and informative. He regualarly points out when something looks simiar to a poisonous plant and also includes a section at the back on what to look out for.
A hugely useful, well-illustrated and often funny book
